In July 2015, I, along with 13 teammates from Redeemer Presbyterian Church, had the privilege to spend an incredible 10 days at Lily of the Valley Children's Village in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Lily cares for 100+ vulnerable and/or orphaned children, most of whom are HIV+. 

 

The children have all suffered unimaginable loss, but in the midst of the brokenness and pain in their lives, they also exude overwhelming love and joy. It is impossible to not to fall in love with them. I've documented some of the beautiful children in this photo series.
